TREATING YOUR PET RIGHT THIS SEASON

Pets are a big part of the family, the owner is always a pet’s priority and they always want people around them happy, but we on the other hand are so caught up in our daily hectic life to give them adequate attention and treatment in return. This season as special as it is should therefore not be for us alone but also for the lovely pets around us by sharing with them in the spirit of the season and giving them something extra special during this wonderful season so they’ll know that no matter how busy you are, they are always on your mind.

The year is gradually coming to an end and you might just want to reward your pet for a job well done in 2013 by increasing the bond between you and your pet[s] by giving them that special treat that they would love, by getting them gifts, I mean a hamper full of pet treat just to appreciate them.

Pet owners have always liked to show their animal family a little extra love with the occasional treat, but modern treats have gone a long way beyond slipping bones under the table to your pet. These days, pet lovers visit designated places to buy frozen dog foods, can foods at grocery stores or make homemade treats from a pet treat book guide.

Below are some tips for treating your kind of pet this season:

Ø  Buying special treat for your kind of pet as most pet stores now offer various feeds. They are designed to taste good to your pet without upsetting their stomach.

Ø  When making treats, it’s important to stay clear of foods that are actually dangerous to pets like concentrated fat trimmings, bones not properly prepared and sharp bones that can split your pet’s throat      .



Ø  How about getting your pet a nice toy to play with this season so she won’t have to disturb your break and fun with other members of the family? The pressed rawhide bones for instance is a tube-like play toy in form of a country bone and I bet will keep your pet quiet and happy for a long while.

The choices are much but how about getting them something unusual instead of the normal and common stuffs. As we all know the season for its cold, there are jackets for dogs which will keep them warm and playing for long without having effect on them. Ø  Getting your pet another collar for the season is yet another idea so as to avoid stray threads and broken buckles that can cause irritation and endanger your pet.

Ø  Another surprise for your pet includes getting her a comfy bed giving them a brand new place to sleep this season, or a blanket to sleep too, better still, a new bowl isn’t bad so your pet can eat like a dignitary!

                                                           

 

Ø  Bringing another pet into the house, giving them another pet to play with while you are out means they don’t have to be lonely and will have a mate to share the moment with.

Ø  Taking your pet along to the beach isn’t a bad idea as she can join in the fun.

                                      

Ø  Always ensure your pet takes extra walk this season to burn out fats.
